Earlier today, January 5, at North Cotabato District Jail in the Philippines, there was a massive jail break that led to the escape of 150 men. It all began at 1:15 A.M. this morning when over hundred armed men attacked the prison. they are believed to have been apart of a terrorist Islamic group that were planning on the attack on New Years' Day. One guard was killed and several were injured. So far 21 escapees have been found and five were killed during the gunfight.
What terrorist Islamic group? Does it say why they chose New Years Day? How many people escaped all together?
